   Musicians, remixers, wizards, etc. - Here's your chance to remix "The Salmon Dance"!

   Just download the zip file in the blog section of the Chemical Brothers MySpace page to get the raw audio files and mix away.

   Then post your completed remix as the first track in your MySpace music player and then leave a comment below with the link.

   The winner of the contest will have his or her remix featured in The Chemical Brothers' MySpace player for 2 weeks - and receive a prize pack of Chemical Brothers 12" singles.

   All entries must be received by Friday, August 24th at noon EST.

   Please keep an mp3 of your remix, as the winner will need to provide us with one to put in our player.

   Since those who enter the contest will be posting the URL to their entries below, we ask that no one who isn't entering the contest leave comments.

    After hearing the "heavily smoked" salmon, I kinda had no other ideas. Everything about that mix was very similar to what I wanted to do. So whatever. I'm happy in the end.

    I am curious to see what other forum members are up to with this.

    I've been working on one, but no guarantees it will be complete, sort of a between work and summer classes project. really good ideas brewing for a song that seems tougher to remix than say galvanize.

    where is the heavily smoked remix?

    well at least this remix gives people the opportunity to say "These released remixes are weaaaaak, I can do better" -and then actually do it, none of that "shit or get of the pot" issue. I'm working on one still (about 5 hours longer than I tried the galvanize remix). And if anyone tries to make a bootleg with this and a green day or destiny's child track, so help me god I will get the belt!!!
