As I said in the Chemical Brothers Live Downloads topic, I've put an FTP server online with all my Live collection, on which you can download and upload (if you have something that's not online).

Please READ before asking dumb questions that are answered in this post.

You can access it and look the files (but not download them) here :

Hostname : sbrk.hd.free.fr
Port : 21
Login :chemical_brothers
Password : escapevelocity
ftp://chemical_brothers:escapevelocity@sbrk.hd.free.fr:21

You can also upload to the Upload folder (if I see any abuse I will block the IP)

If you want to download, send me an email to benjisbrk [at] gmail [dot] com with the tag [CHEMS FTP] in the mail subject.
Give me your username on the forum, a desired password if you have one (else I will just randomly create one) and if you're a regular member of the forum, or if you have something interesting to provide (a set that's not present on the FTP for example), I will give you access.

And I will create an access for you.

EDIT :

There is now a web FTP. You can access it directly at http://sbrk.hd.free.fr/ . All you have to do is type your username and password (or the "lurker" chemical_brothers:escapevelocity login/password) and voila. You hace to check "Passive mode" or else it won't work. Yet if you still want to use an FTP Client (which I reccomend, the web FTP is just a backup solution...), here's how to :

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO USE FILEZILLA
And you should configure your FTP Client to use only one connection at a time, or you may experience problems on the FTP. In Filezilla, you have to go to the configure of the FTP in the Site Manager (top left icon) and in the "Transfer Settings" tab, tick "Limit the number of simultaneous connections" and put 1 under this.

Now all I need is the optical fiber to get a good outgoing rate. I don't think it will be anytime soon.

There's a Polish guy who tried like 8 or 10 times to download with the chemical_brothers username. I dunno if it's someone from the forum but if he/she reads this : please just read the first post...

When it says 'please try to download between 5 am and 11 am (GMT)' is that 6 hr period the only time of day when you can download? That converts to 1 am to 7 am on my side of the world, and I'm generally asleep then.
Further is so awesome.

It's not the only time of the day you can download, it's the period when I've set the download rate the higher. You can download at another time but it will be slower.

Which of the live recordings that you have up is your favorite Ben_j?
(My HD is rather full right now, and I don't want to waste your bandwidth).

Personally, I'd reccomend the 96 Brixton Academy one. They open the show with Dust Up Beats, then they head into a mad rush of all sorts of B-Sides and tracks from their EPs you don't hear that often for the first ten minutes of the performance. It also features Setting Sun with the original big beats, not the house beat version they use now.
Further is so awesome.

Also, can anyone tell me if there exists a bootleg of Brixton 05? I'd love to hear a decent quality version of Live Intro Track.

no December 05 tour live sets exist, which was the only tour the infamous intro was played out. there is a live recording from the sound desk, May 05 recorded at Brixton.

Are these cleaned up audio files or the radio rips we know from BBC?
Nice line up of gigs Ben_J

Some of them are radio rips, others were recorded by crowd members using a hand recorder (Woodstock notably). The hand recorded ones sound like they've been highpassed, but the radio rips are great.
Further is so awesome.
